LOCAL CLASSES AND CO-OPS

Monart School of the Arts A school in Parker that offers drawing lessons to all ages.  Classes are offered at various times each day of the week and are open to homeschoolers.  Check them out at www.parkermonart.com.

PE+Plus

Omega Gymnastics Training Center offers separate boys classes, girls classes, all age levels, all abilities, and a variety of days and times.  Current location is on Park Street, new location will be on Perry Street near Safeway.

 

Apologia Science  Join us this fall for a new elementary level science co-op class.

 

Spanish Class Our Spanish class was a great success, and we look forward to continuing this fall.

 

CRCHS is currently looking for moms and dads that are interested in starting co-op classes.  Please contact us with your ideas!

Celebration Ministry of Arts offers worship dance classes.   Click here for information, class schedules and registration forms.

 

Castle Rock Dance Classes  Wondering where to take your little one for dance classes?  Have you always wanted to learn how to dance?  Check out Joanne’s Dance Studio #4.  Joanne has been teaching dance since 1950, and was a professional dancer herself.  She offers ballet, tap, ballroom, and other classes (hip hop, jazz, modern, lyrical) through another instructor, for beginners through advanced levels, ages 3 to adult.  The studio is located at 1543 Park Street, Castle Rock.  Your 1st visit to a class is free (tell her Carla sent you).  For more information, contact Joanne at (303) 688-6221.

 

Credo Academy  A Classical Christian enrichment program in the south Denver area, Credo Academy offers college prep classes geared towards Junior and Senior High School students.  The teachers are highly qualified and experts in their fields.  Go to www.credoacademy.com to download application or call (303)-841-3437 for additional information.

Think & Believe is a bi-monthly creation science publication by Alpha Omega Institute of Grand Junction, CO.  It is filled with articles and resources for educating and encouraging you in the area of creation science.  It includes an insert for children, entitled Kids Think and Believe Too!  Check it out at www.discovercreation.org

 

Check out the Wildlife Experience Museum’s website at www.thewildlifeexperience.org.  Find out about current exhibits, IWERKS films, and educational programs. Sign up for their quarterly e-newsletter and see what they have to offer. 

 

www.enchantedlearning.com is a site where you can find interesting, fun, and educational worksheets to fill in any gaps.  You can pay for a membership, or just use their sample pages for free.
